ESI Corporate Update
Victoria, British Columbia May 1, 2008 – ESI Environmental Sensors Inc. ("ESI", the "Company") (TSX-V: ESV), today announced it is conducting significant trial installations with AG-Tronix Inc, a leading Motorola Authorized Distributor in the State of Florida.
AG-Tronix has purchased a number of Gro•Point sensors and integrated these sensors with the Motorola Monitoring and Control system for trials in both tomato fields and citrus groves. AG-Tronix has been using tensiometers for some time to monitor moisture with their Motorola system. However, after an introduction and initial trial with Gro•Point, the company decided to switch their entire operation to Gro•Point for its accuracy, robust design and ease of installation.
"I love this moisture sensor. No calibration, no maintenance - just bury to the correct depth and wire into our controllers. The units were up and running in five minutes," says Sonya Tuten-Carns, Founder of AG-Tronix. "It was easy to hook up. I am excited to have found an instrument that works with my existing equipment without the need to have data loggers everywhere."

"We are learning valuable integration lessons from these trial installations that can be used to roll out the program to other authorized Motorola distributors across North America. Significantly, the City of Calgary has deployed Motorola systems in their parks, and Calgary has recently purchased trial units of Gro•Point for use with the Motorola Irrigation Controllers."
Warrant Extension
ESI also announced a two-year extension of 2,000,000 warrants previously set to expire on May 8, 2008. The warrants were originally issued pursuant to the closing of a private placement of 4,000,000 common shares with 2,000,000 share purchase warrants on May 8, 2006. Each amended warrant entitles the holder the right to purchase one common share at a price of $0.75 up until May 8, 2010. New warrant certificates will be mailed to each warrant holder.
