ESI Corporate Update
Victoria, British Columbia April 9, 2008 – ESI Environmental Sensors Inc. ("ESI", the "Company") (TSX-V: ESV), a leading developer and manufacturer of proprietary water management systems, today announced the engagement of Barnes McInerney Inc. and Frei Partners – Investor Relations Consulting as strategic investor relations partners to the Company. Barnes McInerney will focus on developing and expanding ESI's communications with the North American investment community through a comprehensive investor relations program. Frei Partners, based in Zurich, Switzerland, will focus on engaging the European investment community on ESI's behalf.

Barnes McInerney was engaged by ESI on April 1, 2008, for a monthly fee of $8,000 for professional services for a period of 12 months, with the fee due and payable at the beginning of every month. Neither Barnes McInerney, nor any of its employees, holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in ESI, or any right to acquire such an interest. This agreement is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
Additionally, Frei Partners was engaged by ESI as of April 2008. Frei Partners will be paid a monthly fee of €3'500 for professional services for a period of 12 months. Neither Frei Partners, nor any of its employees, holds any interest, directly or indirectly, in ESI, or any right to acquire such an interest. This agreement is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
