ESI Corporate Update
Victoria, British Columbia January 11, 2008 – ESI Environmental Sensors Inc. ("ESI", the "Company") TSX-V: ESV is pleased to announce Strategic Alliance with Signature Control Systems of Irvine, California. The two companies have signed a formal agreement to work together to develop sensor probe technologies for the Global Golf, Sports and Commercial Turf Markets.

In addition to securing an important business and customer relationship with Signature Control Systems, a major supplier to a world class company engaged in the Golf, Sports and Commercial Turf Markets, it opens the door to even wider markets and validates industry needs for intelligent, highly accurate, reliable moisture sensors. Signature will integrate modified versions of ESI's new Gro-Point probes into their existing propriety platforms. The strategic alliance with ESI creates solutions for wider customer needs and provides Signature a significantly greater opportunity to grow into new markers, particularly in the Golf, Sports Turf, and Commercial Turf Management Segments "by combining our intelligent controllers, desktop and web based software, with ESI sensors for monitoring soil, salinity, soil temperature and wetted front Signature now has the opportunity to provide our customers with an industry defining technology platform," said Brian J Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Signature Control Systems Inc.
