ESI Corporate Update
Victoria, British Columbia October 16, 2007 - ESI Environmental Sensors Inc. ("ESI", the "Company") TSX-V: ESV is pleased to provide a corporate update on the Company.
The recently completed financing which has generated in excess of $2.8M is now being utilized to facilitate an increasing demand in agricultural product orders and to finalize the development plans for new upgrades to the FloPoint. This plan will introduce a new mechanical version of Flo•Point which will include major electrical improvements to the Flo•Point. "These upgrades have been driven by a steady and increasing interest in this product line from both our distributor in the United Arab Emirates and other major oil companies in Canada and the Middle East" commented Blair Heffelfinger, ESI's President and CEO.
As well as continuing to develop and refine our product for this new and exciting region, the Company continues to work with the largest Canadian oil producer to develop a product that is specifically designed to meet their needs.
On the agricultural front, "ESI has made significant gains in the turf market and has added several new customers to the wine and cranberry industries," comments David Porter VP Marketing and Sales.
The Company is now compliant with all regulatory filings.
